Could someone please let me know about the water gun I keep seeing mentioned, there are loads in my local and wondered if they might have a glitch? :)

I checked about 10 pages earlier to find it.

If you find one - and they are tescos own brand pump action water guns, they are priced at £5, but if you can spot one with a barcode ending in "99" then may scan for £1. If they end in "192" they scan at £5.

Think the "99" barcode is alst years stock, so getting rarer now.

SA makes stupid comment about China: Wrong, I think we can all agree.
Maanager chuckles at suggestion: Misguided, unprofessional whatever.
Person starts swearing and 'loses it': OTT
Security Perhaps feeling threatened, restrain him: Understandable.

Your advice: Threaten legal action on the basis of a lie that will be refuted by CCTV.

    Terrible advice tbh.

I agree with some of that. Personally I wouldn't start swearing - that gives an excuse. However if a security guard even laid a finger on me, whilst I was not doing damage or stealing from 'his' store - in the words of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman 'Big, big, mistake. Huge mistake'.

The dishwasher tablets SEL is 25p. Is that the case in other stores? I know when they were first talked about that others said they were full price SEL. Our sweetcorn is also 8p ~SEL which is probably why I never find any!

Are you in Scotland? This was a Scottish glitch IIRC, but never made it south of the border....

Is this a relatively reliable one do you know, as always scanning @ 25p? We don't have a dishwasher, but will have in the mobile home we're renting in October so a cheap pack would be great- and I can leave the rest behind for the next person staying. Thanks in advance :)
