Actually there are 2 uses. One is the erm, delicate womanly reason and the other is to mix it with vodka, peach schnapps & pure orange juice and have a lovely summer cocktail.0 -

The 2nd use is certainly more appealing and does sound quite nice! Would probably be even nicer served from a 1p jug0 -
someone on HUKD has mentioned getting Ocean Spray Smooth cranberry juice for 1p

I don't think this is OS 'Smooth Cranberry Juice'. I think its smooth cranberry sauce. Firstly it weighs 350g which is the same as the Wholeberry Cranberry sauce on the tesco.com website, secondly Cranberry sauce is an old 1p item and thirdly they don't sell juice by the gram.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.0 -

That makes sense, I thought it was odd they were selling juice by the gram!0 -
If any of you still have some brie left from the Tesco meal deal DTD glitch then you can make a brie and cranberry tart with this 1p sauce - I made it last week (my first attempt at pastry) and it was pretty tasty! http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/526703/cranberry-tomato-and-brie-tartElite 5:2 #54 12/13 lbs (18 Jan) 1st Target :j0

Out and about in the supermarket this morning, turned the corner to see 'millions' of Thorntons moments, double checked them, long boxes - yep, heart at the top - yep, the barcode was correct - yahoo!!, the right ones - ran to grab a basket then realised I was in Asda!! Doh!!!! :rotfl:0

Just had a bad experience at Watford Extra, until this morning id never tried looking for the 1p stuff but saw this thread yesterday so gave it a go..
I found the 1p boxes of Roses, went to self checkout, scanned them, was half way through paying then heard someone shouting at the top of there voice "STOP STOP STOP YOU CANT DO THAT" I turn around and there's a manager and a security guard coming over to me (half the store was staring at me) and im totally bewildered as to what the hells going on. This so called manager then went on to tell me that they cant sell items for 1p. I respond by saying why are they on the shelf then, he wouldn't answer..
Anyway he cancels the transaction. By this point im fuming not because he cancelled the sale but because of the way he spoke to me and embarrassed me infront of everyone leaving and coming into the store..
Could someone point me in the right direction of making a formal complaint.. I was made to feel like I was a shoplifter. dread to think of what other shoppers thought...Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0
