The 20p pasta sauce is Tesco's own brand: Trattoria Tomato & Herb Jar. (Sorry, tried to find a pic from website but couldn't) 20p on SEL

Phew nearly lost out on some more wrapping paper. The Express was fairly busy and was trying to get the SS tills but one was card only. Anyway got called to a till, assistant swipes the paper and then says"oh I cant sell this as its 1p" he walked off to check with someone but comes back and says ok you can have them. He told one of his colleagues to take the remainder (only 3 packs) off the shelf but a manager said just leave it there......

They also had the pasta sauce but couldnt see a 20p SEL so didnt want to chance that with the paper aswell!!

All the LG sauces are gone from Stafford now, very similar flavoured Tesco finest branded ones have replaced them. Same with the homepride pasta bakes, now very similar looking Tesco ones instead. Guess they are ditching certain ranges, be worth keeping an eye on what else goes.

I went in yesterday and got the puttanesca ones and they scanned at 20p. They had loads of those bacon ones in the pic but they scanned at full price, have these gone down in price today?

I hope those puttanseca ones are nice as my son will be eating them next week when i'm on holiday! :rotfl:
