also noticed that they had the SEL sale label that ended on 1/6 up on bakeware , price checks at full price so DTD .fliipin ninnys 5 days after ended and still up :eek:

I tried both of my local Tesco Expresses today in the hope of finding the wrapping paper. Nope - barely any cards, let alone wrapping paper, celotape or the like. I guess our stores are just too small around here.

Went, armed with list! Our T3sco is one of the smaller ones & it's just had a refit. It used to have a bigger selection of cards & paper, but none of the penny ones to be found.

Did manage 6 of the homepride chilli sauces @ 10p each, left loads on the shelf.

Got 1 each of the olives to try @ 24p each. Again, there were plenty left.

1 can of the value curry sauce @ 8p, want to try it before getting a load in.

They had loads of the 10p chicken Oxo cubes too, but I don't like chicken so left them where they were.

Everything had an SEL with the cheap price on too!

And on top of all this, a lovely shiny new pricechecker has appeared!! :j Don't think we had one before. Well done Mr T! (It's in the biscuit aisle)

Ooops, might be a help to tell you it was the Lanark store!

Just back from Walsall after looking round for over an hour i found 7 pairs pink womens socks with a heart on ankle in blingy type gems and a silly christmas tie both scanning at 1p. Did the stupid thing of putting them through with my shopping as was concentrating on the lego box DTD thingy. Hence ha them all took off me. :mad: Only found 1 bashed tin of the chilli sauce, no oil but plenty olives and got the DTD on my lego so can't really complain. Or can i ???;)

So, when you went to get your DTD for the lego they took the 1p items from you? Seems a bit out of order to me! Still at least you got free lego

Folkestone Bouverie road express has piles of wrapping paper, 3 different types. I got about 20 but there was probably about another 200 left! They have the pasta sauce too with 20p SEL.

i think she meant when she bought the shopping they wouldn't let her buy ithe 1p items
or thats how i read it anyway
