1p finds at Tesco thread

Ok I think I need to have a reality check! lol

Spent all morning while little one was at pre-school looking for these bargains (went to two MrT's)! lol

Should of got the weeks shopping but just came back with a few items. lol

Managed to get the head and shoulders shampoo but (sadly ) that was it.

There was 5 head and shoulders left at 11 ish this morning at Reading Forbury.

And 1 pair of the mens slippers size 10/11 (same time,same store)

No socks or umbrella's or chocolate at either Reading Forbury/Oxford rd (might save somebody a trip/their time! )

Can't get to Mr T's til Wednesday by which time I just know all the 1p bargains will be gone. Don't really understand why they are still on the shelves at all but I'll be over the moon if I find any.

I've just updated my “shopping list”! Compiled from posts #1 - #221 (14-20 Sept 10) but it's not in order as I originally tried to keep like products beside each other. Hope I've managed to remember everything! Feel free to copy & add your bargains!

• There was a box of coffee on the top storage shelf which had a tick box on it saying the products were for a promotion. There were other tick boxes too (for errors, faulty, etc) but they weren't ticked. I naughtily took a packet out and went to the self service and hey presto - 1p Adem 17/9 #72
• 5 bars of "Discount Brand" plain chocolate scanned at 1p. 'Discount Brands' is the name of the actual brand! Confusing! The brand logo is yellow and red. Non-Food

• Umbrella. Totes brand, pink, black and white stripe, one of the folded really small type. Not marked down on shelf, but went through till at 1p. (Reduced to £4.50 from £9.50, although didn't say it was reduced.) Barcode for umbrella is 5017414 833730 supersally01 14/9 #2 Misstress #36

• 1p Stig looking socks . They're black socks with a image on the side that is or looks vaguely like the stig from BBC Top Gear . They're mens, with writing on underneath the image, marked at £2 and are the 'Tiny Idols' kind of make that a lot of the England football stuff was made by. • new baby boys' clothes I found last week in the sale section or hidden towards the back of the new ranges, all were on hangers:
  Baby boys cotton babygrow + hat set. Babyblue/white/green, right half striped/ left half star motif down the length of the body. Scanned at 1p.
  Baby boys green check smart cotton shirt. 1p.
  Baby boys 2pk khaki green t-shirts. One horizontal thin stripes/ one khaki with a brown/orange large cartoon elephant motif. 1p
  Brown 'I love my sister' t-shirt with white long sleeves. 1p. I've also seen this with 'brother' in another store but didn't try scanning that one.
  I'm pretty sure they were all Cherokee brand 3-24months range but I can check and post more info/ bar codes later. None of the labels showed anything approaching 1p although some had been reduced to a few pounds. Monkeychops24 18/9 #149
• New just saw on hotdeals that head and shoulders menthol shampoo 200ml is scanning at 1p. Make sure you find the 250ml bottle barcode 5000174990065 that is the one that scans 1p the other one scans at full price. ...the rest were code ending with 07 and scanned at full price. Success at lunchtime in the Whitstable store...

2x coffee, and one old el paso Fajita sauce bought.

There were several packs of coffee left- SEL £3.4?
Fajita sauce was next to the boxed wraps etc, but had NO SEL at all.

Top tip- there is a self scanner tucked away in the mens clothing section- I only clocked it when I doubled back to look for stig socks as there was a tall rack in front of it. It's attached to a pillar, facing away from the tills.

Ok i've managed to get to 5 tesco stores today and got 14 bags of cafe direct coffee in total but no Head and Shoulders menthol shampoo with the code ending in 065 i went to the superstore in slough, feltham (both stores there), egham, and sunbury store. so no point in going to these ones in case someone is local and wanting to check there

Yet another bargain from our good friends at Mr.T's. If I remember correctly priced at £1.39 scans at 1p I found these in the autumn isle (seasonal goods) I bought 8 at the self service till in the carmarthen branch, loads left!!!!!
