1p finds at Tesco thread

Managed to get another dozen jars of the 20p pasta sauce today and decided to use one today for tea. Made a tuna pasta bake and it was really lovely and worth every penny.

There are two working scanners in the Weston-Super-Mare branch. One in the clothing section and one by the bakery section, weirdly right next to the clothing section! Could have done with these being on opposite sides of the store as im constantly walking from one end of the store to the other just to scan an item (which usually turns out to be a wrong item!)

I know what you mean. Ours is hidden in the clothing section and its a real pain having to keep walking up and down the store.

Think I spotted a potential future 1p item in tesco today - tesco naturally toilet cleaner, SEL currently saying 50p RTC. Would have brought one to try but didn't want to risk messing up my meal deals cashback and not aware of self scanner in my local but will try and get one next time.

Just got back from Mr T's and while I was at the checkout one of the SA was running round whispering to all the other SA's, all I heard was pork scratchings. So I asked what she was saying and she said the pork scratchings are scanning at 1p

Not me...I have got some from ages ago though was so excited when I found them and I didn't think for one minute I would walk out the door with them. Often have a peek to see if any more about.

WD, where did you find that? Went to walsall tonight and found 3 tins bbq chilli and 12 pasta sauce!
