Very quiet iin here.

The landlord's back.
On the plus side, I've learnt a very useful trick today. The guy's a bit of a right-wing nutter (he's harmless really
) so all I have to do is ask him his thoughts on recycling, ect, and he goes off onto such a rant that he forgets the rent's due.
I must introduce him to my grandparents' friend Tony some time, they'd get on like a house on fire.
Speaking of houses on fire, apparently my mini oven invalidates his home insurance so it'll have to go, he says. *rolls eyes* I think he'll find it's me that'll be going, not the oven. I've got a viewing for two other properties on Fri and will be wandering down to the local estate agent tomorrow and seeing what they've got.

Woo ghostmad, you're doing good there girl!
OK, have found an online based Diploma in TEFL/TESOL (same thing, different abbreviation) Does anyone think I'd be taking on too much if I started it in February? Since there's 45 hours for each module, and I don't go out weekends and have time over the summer (maybe start in April/May - then I've got the summer!)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Thanks LMC. Doing OK - ups and downs as must be expected for being in hospital so long etc but the intensive physio has already in around 6 weeks got her moving more than she has done in a few years. We need to ensure she can keep it up when she is home, but it is fantastic.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Hello all
Katsu - Was thinking about your Mum earlier so nice to hear she's doing ok - send her our love.
A friend popped in for coffee this morning and brought 30 free range eggs with her :j...I had 22 eggs in the fridge already so plenty of quiche/baking/meringues to be done....just boiled some down to have with tea too.
Sat in the gorgeous sunshine, on the cliffs with DH earlier, watching the boats get thrown about, twas mighty windy out there but no rain clouds yet.
Good luck for tomorrow Buns :T"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
