I know but fun all the same.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

he shopper who photographed the car, along with a charity which helps disabled people in Darlington, reacted angrily to the picture.
The shopper, who did not want to be identified, said: “Is this what I am paying my council tax for? I was disgusted.''
Council tax?Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

total different kettle of fish..
Hmmm - I'm not so sure.
There's people posting here saying "oh, i'm sure he had good reason to be parked in a disabled bay".
I've seen Police cars sitting in disabled bays, then walked inside and seen them queuing up to pay for sandwiches.
Why presume the Police are holier than thou?
This Crawley video shows what most of us already know, they're not.
And as for wasting the time when they could be doing other things? Like what!? I never see any Police around!
The Police Force is just a corporate, money making business AFAIC.0 -

sorry but i really had to laugh at a load of the comments on there..
i really hope durham police see sense and take no action..
stupid echo...
Those comments were a laugh!
Obviously the bay is just white paint and nothing more - but I am surprised no-one who was so quick to comment there thought of the obvious possibility that:
...maybe the Police were picking up someone they knew to be disabled?! They are often called out to regular minor offenders who they know, maybe it was a literally 'legless' wino in the drinks aisle!
Articles like this are ridiculous, the Echo should have thrown the stupid idiot's photo in the bin and reported on something else, or at least if there was no other news in the area at the time they could have reported factually about the unenforceability of such a bay and just made the article humourous.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
