Sorry about the confusion but the programme in question is actually called Antimalware doctor and I think that it is a trojan and I am having difficulty in removing it.
Thanks0 -
Have you tried connecting to the internet via safe mode with networking?0

Write a reply if you're having problems and please post malwarebytes log here too.0 -
If you still cannot get on the internet via safe mode with networking check your Lan settings (whilst in safe mode with networking) in Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools menu, select Internet Options, click on Connections tab.
Click on Lan Settings, under Proxy Server uncheck the checkbox labelled Use a proxy server for your LAN. Then press the OK button to close, then press the OK button to close the Internet Options screen.
Now that you have disabled the proxy server you might be able to access the internet.0 -

dding dang doo desktop pc is now on the net.
What do I do next plz ?0 -
Try downloading malwarebytes and see if that will install. If it does, click on the update tab then 'check for updates'. Then run a quick scan and post log.
To be honest I don't think this will work at the moment but I hope... Let's hope alienRIK makes an appearance soon...0 -
Download the latest version of Malwarebytes from here............
http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Make sure you download the latest version which is near top right of the page in the link, it is a green downward pointing arrow Download
Latest Version
5.87MB
Once downloaded open Malwarebytes and update it first before running a full scan.
When the scan has finished let Malwarebytes remove anything it finds and then post the log file in your next message.0
