  • I stayed in the new one in Stonedale park Liverpool in July and found the service and staff excellent, we stay in them quite often and have always been given extra tea, coffee etc on request. Think you just had some bad luck at that hotel.
  • Just stayed in London City Road Travelodge and they gave us loads of coffee and milk when we asked for more.

They were only a little cautious when we asked for an extra towel!

It may be that each branch has a budgets to keep to and this one gone over somewhere. Either that or the person behind the counter was a bit thick.

I'd say the latter explanation would be more appropriate. :)

If you arrived by car why didn't you nip down to the nearest shop and buy some milk?
  • Plenty of milk whenever I stay, and that's 3 times a week or more.
    It's still crappy UHT tho!

I would suggest that each hotel has a certain budget for purchases and they've gone over theirs.
