What to do if you drop your phone in water!

Well i had the misfortune of dropping my mobile phone in the toilet. I went to look at my phone in the bathroom and it slipped out of my hand and went into the toilet.

Here is my method to saving a mobile phone:

1) Take the phone out of the water as soon as possible.
2) Close phone, take it completely apart (remove battery, sim, etc)
3) Dry the battery, then find the vaccumm cleaner and take of the head and use the nozzle to suck all the water out of the phone. Put the nozzle over every part of the phone i.e. charge hole, headphone socket, camera lens, speakers, sim card holder, etc.)
4) Do this until the phone is completely dry then leave it somewhere (preferably warm) for a few hours or a day.

hey presto, it should work! well it did in my case. All functionality and no damage at all! Now thats moneysaving :j
