Wildfire from Vodafone - box contents
I have just taken delivery of a new HTC Wildfire on an 18 month contract from Vodafone. The description of the contents of the box on their website http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/htc-wildfire says that it includes stylus and software, neither of which is actually provided. I'm guessing there probably isn't any software available but I would quite like a stylus - can I insist that Vodafone send me one?

Dont believe I got a stylus in mine, just a charging cable/usb and a set of headphones.

A stylus won't work anyway, it's a capacitive touch screen?Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

As Lee say, stylus won't work with capacitive screen (well, there are I believe some very expensive one's designed for them as third party add on's).
My daughters just got one, certainly no stylus with that.0 -
I know it doesn't come with a stylus (which you can certainly get http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/3055/htc-wildfire-capacitive-stylus-st-c400/3bf29227b0017b4687cff2f2741a7c46 ), my point is that the Vodafone website says it does come with one so can I insist on them providing me with one?

I'd think they'd say is was a site error, but there's no harm trying.
While they may may not be able to supply one (as they don't stock them) they may credit your acc with a few £ so you can order one from handtec...0 -
No harm in trying, of course... but given the device has nowhere to store it, I'd think it'd be about 3 days before you lost one anywayStarting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll raise it with Vodafone, I might get something out of it and if not I can always try to make them change their website to reflect what they actually provide in the box.0
