Desperate help - Confidentiality Concerns - JSA, p45, for a new employer
Comments
-
I'm curious as to what type of a job requires you to be security checked and hired 8 months prior to the start date......and expect you to live on nothing in the meantime? Surely any checks will need to be updated once you start again - as you could've gotten up to anything in the meantime!0
-
sorry i can't write 10 pages to explain the entire situation which is not relevant anyway or i would have included it, i just asked some basic questions regarding tax and confidentiality.. if anyone has answers

Unless they are going to pay you a retainer until your start date I do not believe they can stop you. Very mysterious that you don't want them to find out how you will be feeding yourself unless they believe you are independantly wealthy I am sure they would expect someone to work...surely better that than having no record which would imply cash in hand/illegal activities?0
-
to be clear i am not concerned about them hiring me, because the already did. i am not concerned about them firing me because that would be illegal. i am concerned/know they will think differently of me and not allow me to progress as fast. Yes they assume that I have cash in hand and am on gardening leave which I am. BUT this part is irrelevant! so please forget about this part all i want to know are the answers to the questions I asked..............
Can your new employer know who your last employer was if your last employer didnt stamp the p45? if so how?
What is the difference between a p45 and a tax certificate from HMRC? ie - what does the tax certificate disclose?
Can I send in a JSA p45 to get a tax certificate?
Can anyone find out that I was on JSA if they wanted to? If so how?
That is all thanks if you can help0 -
Don't know the answer to your question, but in all honesty - there's no need to worry about them finding out if you were on JSA or not - as you wouldn't be eligible for JSA as you wouldn't be looking for full time work, given that you already have a full time job to start in some months time.....right? Or.....are you concerned about them finding out you were on JSA because they too would consider it a fraudulent claim and you can't have a record for fraud for your new job?????
You might get clearer answers over on the taxation board....0 -
Hi, I don't you, and I'm actually a really nice person. But you're a complete idiot. Honestly, you didn't answer any of the questions, the information you provided above is actually false, and you accuse me of fraud. If you don't know the answer, just don't post anything. Save yourself the embarrassment.
Is this process of ask a question, answer a question if you know it really that complicated?
Great forum by the way0 -

Ooh - I know the answers to your questions.
However as you are so rude, I'm going to keep it all to myself. And even if you weren't rude, I'm not going to assist you in defrauding the government and risking you not getting that oh-so-prestigious job of which you speak.
Have a nice day now, won't you.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
im sorry from the way you have worded your post this is the impression that you have been giving
perhaps if you answered questions and provided information in full instead of avoiding things then it means that people could offer help .. we are not mind readers and when people behave the way you do then it makes people less inclined to help or give information based on what they think your asking rather then what you may actually be looking for
