Hi can anyone help plan my future finances, I currently earn £18700 a year, my partner is currently on job seekers allowance at £65.34 a week. We have a baby due in January, now when the baby is born does anyone know what we will get! As I understand my partner will need to come off job seekers allowance to look after our baby? I private rent at £425 a month.

So I can plan my finances can anyone in similar circumstances tell me what I will receive in working tax credits, child benefits and so on please

Your income is too high to receive WTC.

You will be able to apply for CTC and CB.

If your partner is not in a position to seek work, then yes he will have to come off JSA.

On a wage of nearly £19k, i doubt you would be eligible for any HB or CTB but if you can be bothered to fill out the application form it doesnt hurt to apply.

You will get child benefit of £20 per week and a little child tax credits. About £20 a week also

Were not living together at the moment, she is on jsa at the minute but when baby is born we are unsure what happens, she does plan to go back into work after baby is born but not until 6 months+

Why you want to cause trouble I dont know, Yes I private rent, my girlfriend is 14 weeks pregnant and living with her parents, I want to keep working to support them, I don't want to pack up work and sponge of the government, I come here for help, why try and drag me down, a family over the road have 4 kids, neither have worked since leaving school, they get everything paid for, smoke and drink all day and I have been working 18 years since leaving school, all I want is help and advice, I don't come here to be abused or want trouble, all thought your trying to put the spanner in Sunnyone and have a cheap laugh at me, well can I ask if your contributions are not constructive or helpful, please stay away thank you.
