Really? :undecided  We often eat cod and never found any worms. Also OH used to work on a fish counter at the supermarket and he would have said if he'd seen that

It looks okay to me as well.

I returned my spinach complete with frozen winged insect to Tesco today for them to investigate. The pictures are too gross to show anyone else.

Yes, this is right! How do I know? many years ago (school-leaver) i used to work in a Faroese-owned fish factory who supplied to M+S, we had to remove the worms with small craft knives, and blue (packing) polythene also was removed in the same way. We always knew well in advance when the quality control inspections by M+S were going to be too.........................

And another thing,I think that the picture looks very much like fish too......
  • Actually a friend recently had a piece of salmon (I think) with a worm in - she is currently talking to Tesco about that.
They also said it was fairly common.

I used to work in a fish factory years ago.

It's VERY common to see worms in all types of fish, epecially cod.

Just pick them out (the worm) and chuck them in the bin, they don't do any harm....
