NEW PICs ADDed!! Bought a shank at Morrisons but found worm in!!!???

hi just bought a shank yesterday and cooked it
when i start enjoying it just found something very strange in!!!
see pic please!
is that warm? or something else?
i ve check internet
somebody says it is capillary vessel
but more says it is kind of helminth!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
my god
will bring it to see the manager in morrisons
see what hey say.

It looks like a blood vessel to me. Was it a very dark red, almost black? If so, perfectly normal, enjoy your meat!

What sort of a shank is that?! I was thinking Lamb, but the pictures look like fish?
personally, i'd ask morrisons to do an analysis of it! Looks yuk to me. But make sure they give you a receipt, or you keep at least part of it that has the suspect item in it

It's not much help, but once I had a huge worm in a piece of cod, it was very thick and really gross. Embedded in the cod. Urgh!! I'd say yours look normal, like a tiny blood vessel.
