I'm proud of myself today, instead of impulse-buying a present I can't afford for my friend's new baby, I have ordered a debenhams voucher that I've earned with points from my credit card use and am sitting tight until it arrives!!
I knew there was a reason I was stashing points all over the place...
Oh, by the way, bicarb is one of my favourite stain removers, seems to work on most things. That and washing up liquid.

goodness its been quiet today
well i washed the matress with water and vinegar solution and sprinkled neutrodol on it, opened the window and went out, came home and the passage smells lush wafting the neutrodol smell down the stairs, i've now put a small heater in the bedroom to help the matress dry, its got a switch on it so if it gets knocked over or anything touches it the heater switches off.
need to do tea too for my hungry boys in a bit.
