  • Aw Luc, try to think of it as a nice, relaxing, restoring day, getting ready for the rest of the week :)

  • Hey guys,

Wasn't sure where to post this but feel I have to share it with someone and this thread had a likely tagline:

I paid off my loan today!!!! *squeak*

Still have 3 CC's and an overdraft to go, but step 1 of 5 is done and just wanted to share my euphoria with peeps who would understand, and encourage everyone who's in the same boat to keep going!

You should do like the women do in Africa.....go off into the bush and spend the day plaiting each others' hair and just general pampering yourself....;) Much nicer than having to go to work and be nice to people.

Hope you feel better soon hun x

  • @ persian_star - Well done!
    And speaking of which, I'm Debt Free as of today! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

It's just starting to sink in. I'm sorry to brag about it, I still remember the sinking feeling I used to get whenever someone else on here said they'd made it. But I just feel like shouting it from the rooftops! Admittedly, it doesn't feel entirely deserved, as my grandparents gave me the money for it, but I still can't help feeling happy. The noose is gone from around my neck and I'm free. My wages are my own, not the banks. It's over, it's all finally over and I'm so happy! :j You might've noticed that, I'm not quite sure. :D

Well done Persian One and Kayleigh, that's brilliant news!

Sorry to hear everyone else is so down.

I've just had a call from the other guy from the crash's insurance, they want to repair my car and give me a hire car and everything without me going through my insurance. I don't think I'm allowed to make that decision though because of it being a motability car, and besides, I've already contacted my insurers.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
