Does anyone know if the Sony Ericsson k750i on O2 pay as you go will accept an other network sim cards??
Also anyone know the chepaest place to get the w800i cheapest on Pay as you go? Tried look most places but not getting a very good deal!

from what i have seen and read they MAY already come unlocked otherwise you can you can get it unlocked in a local shop/ market stall

providing the k750i is a cid 36 phone (correct me if i am wrong),you could update it to a w800i
They have to be matching cid values otherwise it wont work as SE did a security update recently0 -
o2 contract phones are not locked but payg are
although if you buy from cpw they may use sim free stock and so it would never have been locked (but ask them 1st)0 -

you can also convert cid49 k750 etc to a w800 with the correct equipment, done 100's.
i won't bore you with the details but as long as the flash cid is higher than the erom cid than you can convert it.
depends on the tool but i flash cid254 files to any phone and hence the k750 can be converted.
there's a little more to it, but it all depends on the tools you use.

Hi, ive just bought a Sony ericsson K750i payg on o2 and have put my Tesco mobile sim in, it is allowing me to make calls but is cutting off mid call, any ideas why this would be?0
