Weekly Flylady Thread 6th September 2010

  • Morning All!

DD2 dispatched to 6th form ( sounds strange), 2 washloads done and tonights tea is heating in a pan before I put it in the slow cooker.

Got loads to do today - prescriptions to get and an attempt to sort out the laundry so that DD2 can find her clothes........

Want this house tidy before I disappear to London in October - a night off with no kids - am meeting some friends from another forum and going to see Martin Shaw in the Country girl!!!!

However father in law seems to be getting very breathless - OH going down next week - so I may try and see him when I get down there - sadly it could be the last time.......
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • I'm in with both feet this week! My next course starts next, and I NEED to get the house sorted out! I'll aim for levels 2 or 3 every day!

Thanks to those who sort this thread out!

Not done too badly there. Am off to get a drink and then I shall plod on with some more. Unfortunately I'm another flylady teacher who has left sorting their school bag for the whole of the holidays so will have plenty to keep me busy in terms of hotspot sorting. :o

Hugs to cyclingyorkie - hope you manage to visit FIL a few more times yet.

Also, I forgot to mention it in my last post, but nice to see the bird report this morning Natty.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • I'm in today. Will post a list now to focus my mind on what needs doing. I'm looking after my friends 2 year old today as well today so I think we'll head to the park this morning and get a bit of flying done here and there in the afternoon. The forecast is dry but windy this morning and rain, rain, rain later on. Washing out on the line so I'll make sure we're back for lunchtime so I can bring it in before it pours.

Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas

Wash nets/curtains/other soft furnishings that are grotty.. do we need winter curtains up yet? Might do the cushions but the curtains won't get chance to dry this week if the weather report is correct.

AnW's Mum....is it the Legoland place at the Trafford Centre you're heading for....that is right near my work (although I'm not in today.) Have a great time.

Think I'll get sorted for the park now so I'll see you all later.

Put another load of washing on
    Fed Chicks
    Fed half the chickens

Having a rest for a bit while I translate a poster for a pamper afternoon I am organising into French. Will probably try for another HHC in 15 minutes!

    Phone clinic about unexpected appointment
    Chase roofer
    Sort finances

    But first
Go and rescue my mini-greenhouse (the new stronger one that was pegged down and weighted down) which is lying on its back - it wasn't that windy last night :(
OK greenhouse cover folded up and in shed
    Plants rescued (well sat upright)

Phoned the clinic - it wisnae me they wanted :T
Now they have to work out which patient number they meant to input

Think I'll put the washing away next - then the place will look a bit tidier.

Well done rachelet - you've made a fab start on your list - well done for getting up and doing something. You'll get faster the more you fly, as in theory there should be less gibble (clutter) to work around. I've been flying on and off since about 2007, so I should be able to do things quickly, as there shouldn't really be much clutter (shouldn't being the operative word there). I will join you for your next HHC at 10 then.
