Morning campers. I'm here bright and early, although that has something to do with me waking up at 5.30am coughing my guts up.. So I thought I would take advantage and get up much to the shock of DH, who was quietly eating his breakfast downstairs while listening to the radio.
Let's see, bird report is that Mr Woody is perched ontop of the bird feeder already this morning and has so far seen off a bunch of starlings. I think he wanted exclusive rights to the bird feeder this morning, or he is feeding the sparrows that seem to have congregated underneath the feeder. There are loads on the lawn, oooh I can see a sparrow with a white wing, how strange. The rest of him is sparrow colour but this wing is white!! Mr and Mrs Dove are back in the nest. I don't think they are nesting again as she has only just fledged two baby doves. Sadly I didn't see them go, the babies were there in the morning but when I looked in the afternoon they had goneAlso the doves weren't ganging up on Mr Woody like they had been doing a couple of days previously. Harmoney has been restored back in the garden again
Asbo robin hasn't been around lately, but I think he is feeding early in the morning when it starts getting daylight. I am hoping that I will see him again once the mornings stay darker longer
Hoody Blackbird has been around, and Mrs Hoody has been making a right noise outside my front window diving in and out of the forsythia bush for all the insects on there. We've also had a little wren pop her head out of the bush a couple of mornings, according to DH. He has to do bird watch while he is eating his breakfast..lol Ooh that reminds me must bring in the birds water bowl and give it a good scrub so it is nice and clean for them. It's disgusting at the moment with seeds etc in it..ewwww:eek:
Hope everyone is well, and welcome to the newbies to the thread. Wow I can't believe how many new people we have joining our little madhousehome from home. Hope you all like it here
Hugs and love to everyone, especially Toots, Diva and LL
Good luck to all those that have littlies starting school for the first time this morning

Morning all. Thank you to all at FCC.
Glad it's the living room as, having been pretty much out of action for almost a month, there is a distinctly unfresh doggy smell in here this morning:eek: My soft furnishings are obviously going to include the carpet. Mr B is house trained but has a tendancy to dribble when he's excited:o
Carpet is pretty much coming to the end of it's life - am seriously considering swapping to wooden floors.
