    Afternoon all,

We're back from shopping and it wasn't too painful thankfully. OH and i are going out tonight and i CBA. I'm shattered now and could do with a nap. :o
  • Afternoon all. Was going to post my list, but is basically everything, so better attempt to fly a bit first so it doesn't take up the whole page!!

Hope everyone whose children started high school this week have been ok and managed not to lose as many things as DS2  (lunch box, wallet and bus pass so far)

First week back at work was alright, though I feel like a fish out of water in Y6. There was also a mention of me doing more hours which I would rather not. On top of being happy working the hours I am at the moment, for what extra I would earn, I would lose out with the tax credits. The head has said she wants to meet with me to discuss it next week :(.

Right, HHC from 4pm to try and crack some lists. Anyone want to join me?
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:
  • I'll do a 15 minute challenge with you as DD2 is about to wake up from her snooze so HHC is not realistic but at least something will be done.
  • :xmastree:Triker - if I was you I would keep the breadmaker and slow cooker, as I love mine, but I have to work really hard to get into the habit of using them. Quite often I forget and have to buy a [STRIKE]scabby[/STRIKE] not-so-nice loaf from the corner shop in the morning :o

Spent this morning making some money from GIOL, DH cooked a full English for brunch for everyone. Then he went to play football and I took the kids over to mum's (just down the road). Then DH and I went out by ourselves :j to buy some presents and had a milkshake in a lovely little cafe. But now I am exhausted and the house desperately needs tidying as we have a friend coming over for lunch tomorrow (and also because DH is so much more relaxed when it's not a tip). So I've got to get off here and get cracking... God can I have some strength please!

I guess in terms of this thread I'm going to attempt my first HHC - lets see where 30 minutes gets me...

  • Managed to wash up, wipe the kitchen top and help DD1 with some maths that she chose to do. Can hardly refuse to help her with maths when she's in the mood over cleaning!

Need to make tea but nothing in. Think I'll have to do a dash to Asda for pizza and coleslaw.
