  • No flying done here:o I did go to the Drs this morning as can barely move my arm and painkillers arent helping and they are sending me for a scan as they think I have a torn rotator cuff tendon they gave me some stronger pain killers and told me to rest my arm so just have to wait for the scan now so I am going to be flying with one arm and just doing what I can. All this from making DS's bed:(

Mums partner is now home he is still very sore but have spoken to him today and he is resting lots which is good.

I need to do some cleaning so will try doing 15min cleans rather than half hour ones and hopefully that way I might get something done

Big hugs to all that need them

    Blimey, Holly! Steady, girl!

I've finished my Whole-Hour-Clean, and the bedroom, too. It looks lovely again, and I'm really looking forward to getting the whole house back into line again - can't wait till next week. (How sad is that?)

For now, though, I've got some cooking and paperwork to do - then double school run today, as my godson is staying overnight with us (rugby training very early tomorrow a.m. :o:o). Busy weekend ahead, too: lots of dashing here and there.

So bye for now, and see you all again Monday

    MissH
    xxxx

p.s. mlb: that sounds terribly ouchy! Take it easy and don't increase the damage...Is cleaning really that necessary right now? xxx

MLB, I have a rotator cuff injury and it is indeed very ouchie so hugs to you. I had some physio on it while I was preggers as it was developing into frozen shouder and now waiting for an appt for a cortisone injection. They told me not to rest it though, so it didn't freeze up anymore. Hope the pain killers help x

Forgot to ask in last post, Ollie has come home with green paint on his new navy blue school sweatshirt and I'm worried about 'setting' the stain - how do I go about washing it?

try cold water to soak it off first. It's SUPPOSED to be washable but rarely is. Then vanish.

Are the children not offered aprons with sleeves?

I have had lunch, spoken to head who has clearly COMPLETELY forgotten what we agreed in a meeting about the 'after-hours club' I will offer.
So I have gone through it all again reminding him that this was discussed and agreed when my personal development targets were set.

Marvellous. They give us PPA time then we are ALL expected to run a club...mine has to fit in with staff meetings, PPA time and the planning meeting I have arranged weekly (also after school) with my job share. So I lose almost all a lunch hour.

I don't know, his sleeves were rolled up, but he also had it on his trousers, ears and hair, so it's probably just Ollie...
