I feel a bit more ready to face the world now. I have just gone into every room and put into a pile stuff that is in the wrong place an needs sorting. I didn't go into the spare room though (once again my ROD) as everything in there is in the wrong place :rotfl:going to do a couple of 5 minute challenges in there over the weekend.
I need to make up a shopping list then I am off to work for a bit, shopping on the way back and then I can fly. The house is tidy so I just need to put the stuff away, dust and vacuum, that is the theory anyway!!!MFW 2026 No. 7 £400/£5000

That is either an anagram of the real place name, or one to keep in mind now that they've changed the scrabble rules to include proper nouns :rotfl: Have a lovely relaxing holiday, and go steady with that list :eek:toochoosey wrote: »Good morning all...School run done, need a cuppa now, then a HHC at 9:30?????

It did rain here overnight (and I would rather like to be outside when the lady across the road realises her rear car window has been open ALL NIGHT - and parked on the road ) but looks like it's drying up so I have towels and other stuff on the line and sheets in the machine.
I need to wash up, portion the chilli now it's cooled, clean living room and bedroom and do some work stuff. I *almost* planned a party last night BUT in the cold light of day I am thinking better of it. Might stick to the buffet;) or, posssibly, do an 'at home'. Becaus ethat way friends could drop in as well as family. Just flitting in to wish Natty a brilliant holiday - hope you have fun - I shall miss the bird reports - our birds seem to have disappeared since Ebony and Sooty (MIL's cat from next door) spend most of their time in the garden - I think they've got a tag team going. lol
Well no work again today, so Moon and I are out to the letting agent to sort out the problems with our mortgage. Also need to visit the bank to set up a standing order. Of course I shall be breakfasting at Starbucks too.:p That will be the half hour doing something for me, although it probably won't take that long.
Well I'd better get a wriggle on.
See you all later,

Morning all, woken up tired, weepy and sore
but a day at home should help with that. Wish I knew when the plumber was coming as I want to put the washer on etc but you can guarantee that the moment I do there will be a ring on the doorbell :rotfl:toottifrootti wrote: »
How come pigpen and rach can do a long list and nobody shouts at them but when I do one you all moan at me???:p
And mine is basically writing thankyou notes and other things I can do sitting on my bum! That is why!!!
Rach is nesting and everyone knows I am a lazy bum and won't do half of what is on my list!!
Think I am going to get dressed and then try and doze on the sofa for a bitMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
