He's paying you £350 per month for the upkeep of your kids . Would it be so wrong for him to get a bit of help too ?

My ex told me today that he's going to try and claim WTC
I have fulll custody of our two boys and get WTC and Income Support.
Can he claim it on £17,000 even thoughI have our kids

CLAIRE:beer:
He won't be entitled to WTC with £17,000 the limit is £13,300 for a single person. He won't be able to claim for the kids as they reside with you.

GOING OFF-TOPIC

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: While it’s easy to wander off-topic that often prevents newbies finding the information they want quickly and easily (please see this rule). Please keep this thread on topic. If you’d like to discuss non-MoneySaving related topics please continue your discussion in The MoneySavers Arms or Discussion Time. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Please can we keep on topic - why the OP was asking has nothing to do with anyone else, nor has her own personal financial circumstances.

• Have there been posts deleted that i have missed because if there arent then i just dont see how the thread was going off topic ????

The last and only recent post clearly answers the question asked by the op ?

DX2 quite rightly and very accurately states ;

He won't be entitled to WTC with £17,000 the limit is £13,300 for a single person. He won't be able to claim for the kids as they reside with you.
