Thanks everyone! Pie was lovely, am really embracing the old-style way of living!
I had a chilli vodka once and it was absolutly fantastic so figured I can make my own. My mum lives in germany so she will pick up the Vodka in the russian supermarket for about 4 euros a bottle so should work out cheap!0 -
If there is a branch of Oil and Vinegar near you, they sell all sorts of bottles - the idea is that you buy a bottle and fill it with their oil or vinegar, but there is no reason you can't just buy the bottles. Our local branch closed down recently, I am quite disappointed!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

Have to admit we're recycling bottles to use for ours......e.g Partner received a set of lots of little bottles of flavoured syrups to go in coffees as a present last year. The labels scrubbed off really easily, they've got screw-tops & we've saved all of them for making pretty little bottles of damson gin & blackberry vodka this Christmas. You can use quite a plain bottle if you're going to jazz it up with a label & a ribbon.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever

Try jamjarstore.com . They have lovely bottles and jars and are much cheaper than I have found elsewhere. Customer service is great and you get fast delivery.0

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knew the best place to get small bottles to give damson gin as presents for Christmas? I need about 10 smallish bottles (50-100ml) that I am going to fill with damsin gin and use as table presents on Christmas day.
I have found these online: http://www.miniatureglassbottles.co.uk/b1.html
They are the sort of thing I'm after but ideally I would like a few different styles to jazz them up a bit. I have seen novelty shaped bottles in gift shops too but they are always so expensive!
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
