Google for collectors or auction houses (Edit - http://www.cigarettecards.co.uk/ and http://www.stevetalbot.com/cards/collect.php#VALUE)

Look for magazines devoted to the hobby. There must be a 'Cigarette Card Collector' out there, seems to be a magazine for every other hobby.....

Get Murray's catalogue from Amazon for £2.57

Google can be your friend. Took me a mere couple of minutes to get the above.

What do you mean 'eBay don't want to pay the price? You've just indicated in your post that you have no clear idea of their value?
Have you looked at actual final prices achieved rather than just the initial bid price?

So you are saying that you've already tried to sell them on eBay then?
You need to split them up into series, not try to sell them as a job lot.

no i haven't tried to sell them myself on ebay for the simple reason is, the cash has to be split 3 was and with everything there is it would take forever and alot of messing about,
