I won't do PM on this kind of thing. In my book, that would be stalking.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

In my book it would be resolving your differences away from the OP and their fragile situation. Ok, start a new thread in MS Arms or discussion time?Debt free 4th April 2007.

I think you have both added value to this thread but again suggest you take your differences to PM or, if not confident you can resolve this yourselves, ask MSE towers to intervene and give guidance on appropriate advice and behaviour.
The constant bickering must make it even more difficult for people asking for advice to do so - it creates a most unpleasant atmosphere.
I agree with you entirely. I have, and have never had, any desire to engage in debate with DvardysShadow and would block any PM's from him or her since they seem to only be based on personal abuse and bias. However, if this continues I shall certainly take your advice and refer the matter to MSE moderators.
If DvardysShadow would like to stop insulting me on threads, I can happily go on with life without engaging with him or her ever again.0 -

I think half the problem lies in that regular users are aware that SarEl is 'a professional working in employment law' but someone posting a query isn't, and it's almost like 'the lawyer has spoken, so that must be the last word'.
Perhaps a little note to the effect of SarEl's profession would assist matters....like 'I'm a lawyer that represents employees, so I take the legal line; but I don't want to stifle any debate so feel free to use my advice as you wish'.
and perhaps not shouting at the OP might help....if they don't understand, then they don't understandIf you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
ok. *I* have asked forum admin to have a look at this. If they are bothered they will do something, if they aren't they will not.

Oh for goodness sake - you started this all over again, as you have done previously, over and over. But fine - you win. I have had enough. There are better things to do with my time. Now nobody will get any advice from me and they can depend on the excellent advice that you give - God help them. You won't listen to reason and you won't even listen to others asking you to listen to reason. There is utterly no point in attempting to help people because there is always some insane little troll that wants to keep it all to themselves, and deny people the benefit of a full range of advice. On this site, you are the insane little troll. Good luck with your fiefdom.0 -

Even professionals can snap after the continual goading going along here!
What is it with this forum? We have people prepared to give up their time to help others and they get followed around by several people whose nose is obviously out of joint as they are no longer the "king pin".
Disagree by all means - however keep the personal remarks to yourself.
This forum is getting a bad name instead of being the helpful place it used to be.0
