  • Rikki I definitely remember trying to manually set BBC1 but I could only get a fuzzy picture. All the other terrestrials work fine.

Sorry I don't know how to get this information.

I have a slightly different model but we'll try that first.

Hold the "Functions" button on your remote for more than 5 seconds. It should then show the RF number on your display.

OK can't see that this would clash with BBC1 on channel 57 then. Can you go back to that site and post channel numbers for all channels 1-5 please?

Sounds more like you're picking up the Crystal Palace transmitter as BBC1 is on exactly the same channel as your RF out.

Let's change the RF out. Do what you did before to get the RF on the display. Then whilst it's showing using the Channel up button or the numeric buttons and choose something like 52. Press enter.

You will have to retune your TV to pick up the DVD recorder again as it will be on a different channel. Once you've done that, try and get BBC1 again.
  • Guess what as soon as I changed the rf OUTPUT bbc1 came on crystal clear. You are a genius and I can't thank you enough. I was gonna go out and buy extra booster signals etc....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :T

No problem - just clicking thanks will be enough;)

I assume you mean BBC1 on your TV is now crystal clear?

Don't forget to retune your TV to see the DVD recorder and also retune the DVD recorder to pick up BBC1 so you can record it.
  • I didn't need to re-tune anything. The DVD Recorder picked it up automatically and I've also recorded to test it out. Bye
