Tesco iPhone issue
So...where do I start! Iam on the 12month 20per month deal...
My latest problem with Tesco is that ive been charged for stupidly long calls I didnt make! That 01928 is an alternative to Tesco mobile apparently. I made the £7 call, but certainly didnt make the other one! Tesco are looking into it for me. What a pain

The Tesco billing dept said they would be willing to pay 50% of my bill...which iam still not happy about as there is no way that I made that 18hour call! Can anyone offer any advice on the matter?

Hi there
Look at the dates and times of the calls. The dodgy 18 hour call was just before 6pm, but there was another call at half past midnight. How did you make a call to 4455 if you were already 6 hours into an 18 hour call?In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Well, from what I can tell from your bill, there is no way you could have made that first call for that amount of time, as you made a call to 4455 about 6 1/2 hours after the first call (unless I am reading your bill totally wrong !)
Obviously, there is a problem Tesco's end.
Hope you get i sorted, but I would totally refuse to pay any of it.0 -

may sound a stupid question but what is the alternative number for? my o2 bill shows the number exactly as i dialled it so why would tesco change it? seems like it can be very difficult to keep track if they change the number on the bill unless i am understanding it incorrectly??
as for the 18 hour phone call obviously a !!!! up there end as the bill shows you have made 2 seperate calls at the same time as 2 previous poster pointed out, explain this to them and see what they say.0 -
Anyone who has ever worked with programming or databases will recognise 65535... 65535 is a frequently occurring number in the field of computing because it is the highest number which can be represented by an unsigned 16 bit binary number. Someone stuffed up. Don't pay any of the bill for that call!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

The 01928 number is for Tesco Head Office. I'd see if they can put the bill on hold and request a network investigation.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
