Tiscali/TalkTalk email problem

what I would do in your situations is set up a free gmail account and then add your talk talk email to gmail through pop. I do this from my isp email
gmail will automatically collect your email from your isp email service (you can set it to delete email from the isp email account prob like it does now) you can also set gmail to sent email from your isp email account you can then add gmail to your computer/phone or just use it through the webmail, you can even set a new label for all that email so it will always be put in its seperate label/folder
you can also do this with hotmail, yahoo and aol mail but I IMO gmail is the best hotmail 2nd, yahoo and aol don't rank

all the more reason to switch email provider, I personally recommend gmail but hotmail/live mail is a good option too (esp if you want to use skydrive or the folder sync service live mesh).
not only will spam protection be better, ability to access your email easily from multiple devices (webmail, outlook or any internet enabled phone),
and (the most important IMO) it will out live your ISP so you will always have that email no matter if you switch away from talktalk or tiscali0
