So today is a snow day. Hubby is at work but me and my LO are home. LO is having a nap and then I think we will go out and play at lunch time. I just want to go back to bed lol!

Feeling so low. Hubby keeps being told how strong his job applications are and then getting rejected so as you can guess it has happened again today! Just feeling so down beat. When he applied to leave the army the economy had not crashed and now they won't let him withdraw his resignation. Everything just seems to be going wrong

Another snow day today. Was quite looking forward to going to work and just escaping all the rubbish feelings but ho hum. Not sure whether to risk trying to get my son to nursery or not. I feel guilty about keeping him off but at the same time I feel guilty for taking him in and having an afternoon to myself so to speak. Damn my conscience!
Still feeling quite low with all the job huunting my husband is doing. At this rate it looks like he will be driving trucks which is no career but at least it is a job and will pay the bills. It will also be a good year or two break so he can do some more training and make a clear decision about what he wants to do.
Have a good day! xxDebt August 2009 - £30,525.50Debt Paid February 2011

Well I feel really crappy this weekend. I have that horrible back to school feeling for some reason. I just feel thoroughly sick and like all I want to do is curl up in a ball and hide away. I have to go up to London for work tomorrow and I just don't fancy it. I don't really "do" the big smoke and would rather be local to my son.
My hubby has his last ever duty as a serving soldier and this weekend was our last function. I have been an emotional wreck all weekend. I just keep crying and completely regretting him signing off to leave.
Not a good week or weekend really. Maybe this week will have something to cheer me up but the way I feel right now I don't feel too hopeful.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend and is enjoying seeing grass now the snow has started to thaw!Debt August 2009 - £30,525.50Debt Paid February 2011

Well nothing remotely MSE this week. I am really struggling mentally with the coming weeks. I spent all weekend in floods of tears for no other reason that I don't think I am ready for civvy street let alone my husband.
He is applying for jobs but hearing nothing back I am pretty sure that is the root of my anxiety.
Still my aim is to focus and just keep my head down but with Christmas fast approaching it feels impossible! I have a couple more family members to buy for and I have left the most difficult until last.
Hoping to be out of this little slump soon!

Well after an eventful weekend - which almost lead to me going to hospital for my appendix out - things have settled down again.
Hubby is back to applying for lots of jobs and I am feeling a little more optimistic. I have been trying to remember Beanielou's Japanese proverb every time I feel down "fall down seven time, stand up eight". It has really helped!!
I have received payment for my freelance work I did however I massively undercharged on that which after doing I completely regret but hey ho. It gets me off the starting blocks.
I am going to start getting on with my dooyoo and slicethepie bits too. Dooyoo works really well for me. I sm trying to save up and get ready for next Christmas making less of a dent on the already dwindling wallet. Plus any other site through out the year that I get on well with will be added to the list. I used to do my free scratchcards but since they have gone I have yet to find anything that "provides" as well as they did.
Hope everyone is keeping well and onwards and upwards for a good week all round
