  • Hi SM,
Just trying to catch up with some comping, how are you?
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • A quick hello from me, as things are very busy at the moment at chez GISI. NCT sale tomorrow so am helping out with that, as well as trying to get my own stuff ready to sell at it.

Hugs to those who need them, and get well to snuffly mummies and babies.

I mainly just came on to say that Asda have some great baby bargains at the moment as their Baby Event nears its end. We got two stairgates for £7.50 each, a bed guard thingy for £7.50, a little plastic step for £2 and some toddler cutlery for £1 a set. Well worth a look!
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p

twoflower, have you tried presenting things with different names? Alice got put off curry by one we had which wasn't as nice. If I give her "bean curry" she doesn't like it but if I give her "beans and rice" she'll polish it all off even though it's exactly the same thing and I've just given it a different name.
We have to do this too, Chris loves "beef with rice and beans" but won't go near chilli

Jillie - how is Kian with taking his lactulose? I've just discovered mixing a few drops of cordial into it equals one happy Edgar :)

I hate the stupid Gigglebiz guy. Is it just me that there's something weird about a man in drag on children's TV? :p I don't know many other characters, as it's rarely on during the day here.

OOooomg he annoys me! He is much more than Gigglebiz... Something Special, Tikabilla, he is even Jake in the Tweenies! He gets everywhere.

ETA He even has an MBA for it all!

I appear to have won some baby show ticket/s (not sure if its one or two), but its in earls court london, too far for me! was wondering if Bruno fancied them for mrs bruno? i really wanted to go when i was pregnant, if not if anyone else is close enough give me a shout, otherwise i'll just stick em on ebay,

    x

Wow that's a very kind thought, JM :) if you think you'd get some cash for 'em go ahead and ebay, otherwise we could certainly take them and might get along there next week. No worries either way though!

Welcome to the new posters. It seems like every month or two a new mummy has 5 people telling her how vital BF lying down is for sanity, and I know my OH would strongly agree :)

Hope your evening improved Tia! And I bet Amber is sleeping happily now?

E had quite a cold today.. I went in when he woke this morning and the first thing he said was to wail "Snotteeeeeeee :(" at me. I wiped his nose and picked him up, he wrapped his arms round his neck and said "ooo... snottee gone!" :) from sobs to happy at the flick of a switch!

Then this evening, he was in his chair eating supper - he called me in from the other room and when I came to see what he wanted, he insisted on feeding me spoonfuls of his cottage pie alternating with himself, sips from his cup, and when it was all finished surged out of his chair to give me a huuge tight hug :D

    Evening all.

Hammy - loved the pic of David x

tia - hope the bumps and bruises heal fast, sounds like A is ok. Falling with T is constantly worrying me everytime I go up or down the stairs.

Lovely to see some new faces, though I have nothing to add that hasn't already mentioned.

Nothing much doing here, T was getting her self in a tiz at bedtime and took till 8.45 to get her to sleep when she has been sparko by 7.30 the past week.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D
