I was really lucky that my community midwife was really good. My only problem was the pain (and until the midwife came, worry that I wasn't doing it right because all the information beforehand said thatif it hurt you weren't doing it right) and I know that if OH had suggested switching to formula on one of the really bad days I would have. I used to dread feeding her and spend ages psyching myself up for it because I knew it would be really bad. It was about a month before I felt like I would be able to keep going. I also found that for the first few weeks I was much more emotional while I was actually feeding so I only needed to think about something sad while I was feeding and tears would start pouring down my face.Evansangel wrote: »They say each baby is different, and hopefully this baby will eb great at it.
With Lily it was her not being able to latch properly and she was losing weight even though she was feeding for upto an hour every 20mins.
It hurt so much and i cried all the time.
The BF support was rubbish aswell, i had 3 lots of different info from my GP, MW and the BF support.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
