EA I BF Josh for a week as it was painful and I didn't really know anything about feeding. With Caitlyn I'm still BFing her now. I understand your fears as I felt the same, but decided to give it a go and it was a lot easier.
Oops, hope that didn't sound pushy - I don't mean it toSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

Fabulous Christmas pics the last couple of days everyone. I'm very much looking forward to our first Christmas
Thanks for all Alfie's hugs.
Had a lovely lunch out with my friend and her 17 week old. Alfie had quite a bit to eat so must be feeling at least a little better. And 17 week old Lola is as big as Alfie!!!!!
EA hope your scan goes well, sure it will
I just love the things kids say. I don't exist. LOL.0 -
Hi everyone,
I have read back but I can't remember much other than weaning chat. We did mostly BLW cos I am a lazy mummy, that's the main reason that I BF too!! All that sterilising and washing and powder is too much fuss for me!!
In The Night Garden Live was fab...although Benjamin cried at the start when the curtains closed after seeing Iggle Piggle in his boat, and then he cried at the end when it was over :rotfl::rotfl:
...although to be fair, I cried too...because I am an emotional wreck
Wednesdays are a bit strange whilst I am working from home because MIL looks after Benjamin here. So when we got home from ITNG at 11am MIL had Benjamin and I went out for a llloooooonnnggggg lunch with myself and a couple of papers that I have been meaning to read for a while. It was lovely!!
Got home around 4pm and caught up with my emails before giving Benjamin his dinnerplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Awww (((hugs))) you did great with Lily. After DS2 I didn't think I would manage to feed Amber, but it just felt so natural after she was born. Though it was hard work and we didn't last that long, it was different from the boys.
My friend was in agony feeding her first but is a self confessed lactavist that she kept going. Her second had no problems at all.
Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, you may decide to do a few BF's or just use formula, its not worth worrying about.EA i gave up with my first after a few weeks as it was all too much, with no2 i BF him until he was 2!!! i didnt feed any of the others that long but just to let you know that it can be possible and i think with your 2nd your more confident in yourself. hope the scan goes well xx
its been a busy day here today, cant wait to climb into bed lol! I have been looking into the waterproof etc that Charlie will need and it all seems to cost a lot! I have just bought a pair of BNWT Hunter wellies for him in the next size up and thought santa could help with the added costs. He needs 2 piece waterproofs, neoprene wellies, thermals, 2 layers + spare fleece/jogging trousers, welly socks or thermal socks, hats and scarfs. thats not inc his lunch, transport, the extra we have to pay eeekkkk!!!
Tia/rmac and any other scottish ladies! have you thought of a day to meet yet???
Well DH has just announced he's working Sat, so any day as of now. Schools go back Wed 20th for me.
Cheap days out in Glasgow area?0 -
Ooh, hello Mfd, I just text you lol...
Talking about emotional wreck... It's my friends husbands birthday today and when I went to fetch Aimee from school their son was expecting his Mum to pick him up (she usually works Wednesdays so he goes to wrap around) but she wasn't there and he was in floods of tears... I was giving him a hug by the door and trying to calm him down and get him to take a big breath... I was struggling to hold back the tears myself!! I didn't have my mobile to call his Mum either... I text her when I got home and his Dad went to fetch him earlier than planned...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I think my living room carpet is beyond saving :rotfl:
DD1 is 8, twins are 6.
Twin1, at the age of 5 tried to bury herself in my washing mountain (yes there was that much but it was all clean!) and when I told her to pick up the paper she'd dropped she wriggled a bit deeper and shouted
'I don't exist!'
I have no idea where they get it all from:rotfl:
Since last week when I was tired and OH did lots of my stuff, Alice has been claiming, "I'm too worn out to tidy my room." They don't miss a trick do they.jillie1974 wrote: »well cuddle time is overits now empty my toy box all over the floor time :rotfl:

CAFC - hugs sweetie. Are you okay?
Evansangel - remember that every baby is different, so just as every birth is different, so is every feeding experience. Just do what feels right at the time and don't worry about it until nearer the time is my advice
caz/tia - week days are best for me. Flexible on dates...
I'm glad the general concensus is that we are all emotional wrecks now we've had babies :rotfl: I certainly can add my name to the roll call:o
tia - what about the newly opened kelvin grove? Science centre costs, but can use tesco tokens. transport museum still shutr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
