Afternoon everyone.
Had a busy morning this morning - popped out to see a friend from work who's recently had a little girl - she made Freddie look huge!
Hope everyone's ok - I did have loads to say, but I can't remember it now

If you have a child then as long as you do enough hours between you, it is fine - the claim is a joint one.Quick question whilst I go back and catch up a bit. DD1 on her way over, with Tax Credits if she is working less than 16hrs a week (she's dropping to 10) she is below the threshold to claim, so is she still ok to claim as OH is working full-time or does he have to do it?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

lol at the cheesecakes!
My nan told my 3 that she wouldn't pick them up this saturday (she always does) because my uncle is going on holiday and she's going to hide in his suitcase :rotfl: :rotfl:
To be fair she did ring me and tell me she'd told them that and was joking in case I thought she was really going to smuggle herself :rotfl:
Susan I didn't even notice them checking I was dilated. I was taking full advantage of the gas and air and wasn't sure what was going on!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I'd send them a message and see what they do first.got-it-spend-it wrote: »No Nuby freebie with my post today
. I am  though as there was a card for a parcel with underpaid postage- 10p underpaid so I have to pay £1.10 to get it. I can only assume that it is for the giant cupcake case I ordered on eBay as the card is in DH'd name and all eBay things come to him (whereas everything else comes to me). Would you neg for that?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

It didn't hurt at all when they checked how far I was dilated.
it didnt hurt me either to be honest just a bit uncomfortable but it was the closest thing i could think of to compare it to, the first smear i had was uncomfortable, but the second one i had i honestly didnt feel much at all, think i was more relaxed for the second one.0 -
Did you not have to wait for a million years in an assessment room and be assessed before being admitted?Susan I didn't even notice them checking I was dilated. I hope Charlotte gets her Marks and Spencer's problem sorted, Becles :rotfl:. I wonder if she'll tell nursery about it!
I take it all back about the cupcake seller as the mould has just arrived in the RM van. No idea what the package that needs paying for is....maybe the in-laws have sent something to OH!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

I see - I thought you meant that one hurt and the other hurt less.Jakesmummy wrote: »it didnt hurt me either to be honest just a bit uncomfortable but it was the closest thing i could think of to compare it to, the first smear i had was uncomfortable, but the second one i had i honestly didnt feel much at all, think i was more relaxed for the second one.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I can't really remember if it hurt checking how dilated I was but I do remember after a lot of unsuccessful pushing the mw feeling to check Alfie's position and it actually feeling quite a bit more comfortable to have some pressure in the other direction!
They used to offer smears from 18 around here! So I had one then, then when I thought it was time for the next one I wasn't allowed cos they'd raised the age.
I'm getting my hair cut this afternoon but not sure what to do with it.0 -
