I use a spare nurofen syringe, again I find he'll take it in his sleep best, my child does NOT like taking medicine of any kind!!:p

*Whispers* Anyone wanting one of those highchairs we all recommend that come from the shop with the meatballs might want to check the stock of blue ones at their local store nudge nudge ;);) Guess where we are going tomorrow!

We've had that cream EA, I know what you mean. I ended up washing my hands in anti-bac wash, then squeezing a line onto my thumb then sort of pressing it to Alex's eye and gently rubbed it in. It must have worked though as it cleared it up. All whilst trying to hold him down and keep him from shoving my hand out the way. Quiet a feat when you are doing it by yourself.

thanks sami. i managed to get most of 2.5ml in him before by holding his soother so he'd open his mouth (mean mummy)

will try the syringe as we have 2 or 3 round the place.

Tara I don't think so. He will say he needs the toilet and I send him to the toilet, but if he is distracted then it's a case of he can't be bothered going. It's just lazyness and not wanting to miss playing. Especially as it only happens at home.

would a consequence for not going to the toilet help? not much experience in that dept, but that was what sprang to mind.
Katie has had a lot of conjunctivitis and I always go for the drops. I'm a really bad mummy when she gets it now as I wait until she's asleep, no so much of a fight then.

what an inspired idea - and the perfect example of what a brilliant thing this thread is. I'm going to remember that for next time we have eye drops.

are you feeling a little better tonight, having had a message from union man and not had to go to work? I hope so x
