Hello:wave:
Just thought I would pop in, after a little nudge;) I haven't really had anything to say lately which is why I haven't been posting....also feeling a bit down so would only be whinging anyway!
MIL's boyf has had his results back and it ain't looking too good.... We are struggling financially and I have both the boys birthdays coming up, last year I promised them that they could have parties this year, and now I am going to struggle to do it, plus I have probably left it too late to book anywhere for ds2 as his birthday is in less than a month!! I also have NO IDEA what to get them for a present.....
So as you can see, that turned into a moan, which is why I haven't posted as no matter how much I try to be positive it just isn't happening at the moment:(
Instead, I have been concentrating on dieting as that feel like the only thing within my control atm:cool:
Sorry to be so glum

Mel come and talk to us about your party planning - we can help with that bit I'm sure
If my maths is correct you've got an 8 year old party in a month and a 10 year old party in 2 months.... could you do something at end of october/beginning of november and do it as a joint party to make it cheaper?

I've ordered some bits from Argos for collection, some for delivery. Now i'm looking again at the Scuttlebug, it's £18.74 and included in the 3 for 2. Hmmmm.
I thought I'd have a look at the scuttlebug, and then thought I know I search on swagbucksThe 5th entry down is the urban dictionary definition :rotfl:
Maybe I'll just search on the argos site :A0 -
Mel - is it possible to do a joint birthday with someone in their class?

Is Bekki around? Are you coming Bekki? Can you think of anywhere else?
Also - has anybody looked to see if there are any vouchers / offers on etc.
I might be tempted, what sort of area are we looking?0
