We've found H&M clothes quite generous for the size, and Next seem to be too. Sizes vary so much. Henry is in some 6-9 months still, mostly 9-12 and some 12-18 months. It's mad (but like adults clothes, I guess).

V is mostly in 18-24 months now, but I put some 18-24 next trousers on her yesterday and there was a good 6" of spare material at the hem.

Ladybird  At poop in the bath, and good luck with toilet training. We've not long had a potty for her to get used to it. She mostly rides round on it saying brum brum.

    Monkey Forest - 29 September

I was wondering if we need an alternative plan in case it is raining?

Monkey Forest is all outside other than the cafe so it will be a PITA if the weather is poop.

Is everybody who is coming (other than me and Krystal) coming from oop north? I can't think of anywhere other than Waterworld (and I am not sure if I want you lot seeing me in my swimmers!) so was thinking we make it the usual place by the TC if the weather is pap - and make a decision at 8.30am on that morning as to what it looks like.

Is Bekki around? Are you coming Bekki? Can you think of anywhere else?

Also - has anybody looked to see if there are any vouchers / offers on etc.

The group discount is for 20+ paying people.

I hope the weather isn't poop, I WANT to see the Monkeys.

It's my lovely OH's turn to be a KH today. It's his day off, so I planned all of my ebay stuff to end yesterday, so I can pack and post without V's help ;). So he's got up an !!!!!!ed off to work for an hour to sort some bits out.
eta: I've just looked out of the window, and he's also taken my bl00dy car, complete with car seat.

ETA: I love the secret santa idea.
My last two in work were a little random. The last one I was very pregnant and got bibs and a blanket - it was supposed to be a present for me, not my bump. The one before I got a red cowboy hat and some black and red striped over the knee socks?!?!?!

  • At least it was better than Dave's lime green mankini that he got last year 3 :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just wanted to say thanks to Scruffy for the booster seat recommendation, I didnt get the exact one you linked to but I got one by the same company and its fab, S loves sitting in the big boy chair at the table with me! Only trouble is now I might actually have to clear the table off and start using it as an eating area and stop using it as a hair/make up station...

Can anybody recommend any toys from Argos for S for xmas or to put away for birthday in March? I'd already bought him a few bits from ELC with the 20% vouchers, but have seen similar toys on Argos which work out cheaper so have reserved those for pick up later and will take the ELC toys back tomorrow :rotfl:

Oh Fab. Glad you like it. Hope the other stuff is ok too. Sorry there were no pants, but my teeny legged boy is still wearing in 6-9 months ones. As I said feel free to pass on if anything is too small, or not your thing.

It's on the 3-2 at Argos atm i think.

OH is in Costco and they have My Pal Scout and Violet for £12.00.

I've ordered some bits from Argos for collection, some for delivery. Now i'm looking again at the Scuttlebug, it's £18.74 and included in the 3 for 2. Hmmmm.

    SECRET SANTA

Thanks to all for messages so far.
Can you put on any messages,
1.how many, names and how old your kiddy winks are,
2.whether you want to be giving present to just kiddies or kiddies and mummies (I understand everyone has different budgets/ideas so theres no right or wrong),
3.and whether you'd like to receive for mummy and kids or just kids....

I was going to suggest a guide spend of £10 not inc postage.
Oh and addresses if you're happy for me to have them now...

I'll try and keep any kinks in the plan to a minimum :)
