Elliot is a rolling machine today, he has rolled all over the floor and back, it amazing, just yesterday he would only roll once and then get stuck, now he is all over the floor and going from back to front and back again

No you're not a bad mummy - you are doing the best you can in the circumstances you are in. Have you considered using some of the recipes from Cheap Family Recipes? I seem to recall that your OH has particular food requirements but even if you just used two or three recipes it might help. Perhaps the lunch recipes and snack recipes may be the most helpful?

And we generally let Alfie eat / play as long as he seems interested. Once he gets to only messing about or looks tired then I clean him up and he goes to bed / play.

We are out for our anniversary meal tonight at the place where we had the reception. Very much looking forward to it and didn't know we were going until hubby announce it an hour ago

Oh, and I'm not sure what it is about them but these building blocks from Ikea are apparently HILARIOUS!

Alfie is in hysterics as you build them up, move them around, knock them down etc.

Funny you should ask...I have just been for my flexible working interview today! In my company everyone has to have one after making a formal request.

My DH took paternity leave and noone batted an eyelid even tho he would lose a fair whack of money but when he got his payslip it turned out they just gave him full pay anyway :T

right back to catch up!

I felt like that in my previous house. Lots of bad stuff happened and it felt like the house was a jinx. We moved here and I felt much better and I've never felt the need to move from here. Was a struggle buying my ex out and was afraid Craig might want to move when we first got together, but thankfully he loves it here too.

Somnium - lovely picture. James passed as I was looking and he said she was really cute.

James lost his school shoes this morning. I had to send him in trainers with a note and he thought he'd left them in the PE changing room. He searched school and couldn't find them, so he got into trouble when he came in. He was sent to tidy his room as it was a mess again, and he found the shoes under a pile of stuff :wall: Just thankful he's found them as I just bought them before he went back to school.

thanks guys. Its my own fault we have no money. I kept buying stuff and buying stuff for DH so i wouldn't feel bad and i've gone into my overdraft just to pay rent and my credit card.

I got my last lot of smp today so we are down £480 this coming month.

I have some tinned tomatos so im going to find a recipe to make Lily some pasta sauce

And im doing online shopping at some point so will stock up on shopping.
