Aww, SS :( poor sick Molly, any obvious clues?

I hope MFD's Benjamin is better this morning after night-time vomit... I know she had to hurry out of the house :/

Thanks for the further info Chopsticks :) makes it all sound quite reasonable. Jillie, that's interesting and makes sense - I did some quick online digging and found a relatively easy 8% discount on bookings through Virgin Hols for example, so I guess my expectation would be that a face to face agency contact would match that (unless there was much extra gained through non-online booking? Never done it so wouldn't know). I hope that doesn't come across as rude - I don't mean it to be, but it's the default position I'd approach booking a holiday with personally (may be very naive!).

Morning, you know when you order the books with free gift, when did you choose the free gift, before or after putting in payment details? And can you confirm the code cos I've found 2 different ones and dont want to miss out on the freebie? Cheers

  • Morning, work for me later so my Mum is coming to have Henry. I'm a bit nervous as it will be the first time she's had him but I'm sure it will be fine.

All this cruise talk is making me wonder if it might be a good option for us since we live in Southampton. Not sure OH will be persuaded though.

I hope Seth is better today, Em. Also get well wishes for Benjamin and the Mollster.

Tia- I see on FB that you are poorly too so sending some get well vibes to you too.

Off to do some inane Bingo chat.....

  • Ooh I meant to say that while I was ploughing through my Dooyoo reviews I discovered that buggy reviews seem to be worth 600 points, which is much more than most things I have done. Good news for us buggy addicts!

get well to all in need, Lewis is at home with a sore throat and a cough, Charlie seems much better so we wont be doing much today.

The cruise looks amazing! although as theres so many of us i think i would need to sit down for the cost! Something like that would be ideal as everything is in the one place and there seems so much to do! If you get bored Jillie you could always price it up for me please :D

FIL and his friend are going to look at my car today so fingers crossed as noone else seems to know whats up with it and i really hate the hire car!

we have different discounts we can offer. on most cruises we can offer a max of 10% disc. on our own holidays we can usually do the same...(are some exceptions)
some holiday companies we cant do as much discount but we try to do the best price.

most online companies will give you a high discount to book with them.

we do our best to match that price.

i guess the main benefit in booking face to face..is that we are there to help you wth any problems/queries etc you may have. when you book online anything you need to ask/change all has to be done through a call centre and we all know how hard they can be to get through to. we cant access any bookings that have been made on our website and it does p.. customers off but hey ho...nothing we can do about it
