Had a bit of a scary moment today v- just wondered if anyone had experience it/had any advice.

We went swimming this morning (T loved it!) then went back to my friends house for a brew. I was bfing T and both of his arms suddenly started quivering/shaking. He carried on feeding and the rest of his was fine. I held on to them tightly and they stopped, he's been fine since. I'm not overly concerned as he seems his normal self now but it was just a bit strange/worrying.

  • Hi Gill,

That sounds a bit strange. Do you think he was cold or extremely tired?

I wouldn't worry too much, keep and eye on him and if it happens again/regularly then get him checked out - it may have just been an involutary muscle spasm.

You know your baby best so if you think he is okay then he most probably is xx

    Caz we're talking about Bingoport.

Gill, Molly's limbs used to do that when she was very tired.

3, I'm so happy to hear Mousetrap was rubbish! I remember the adverts though and it looked fab!

It takes about an hour to set up, but still doesn't fit together quite right. The game takes about 10 minutes, then another hour to get it all to fit back in the box.

You're very welcome Miss Tronic. :rotfl:

We've been to visit Mums new school. They've moved buildings over the summer holidays and the children aren't back til next Monday. V wasn't in her usual happy mood and spent the morning frowning at people.

Then went to Asda to look for baby clothes because V has none now I've emptied her cupboards of 12-18 month stuff. But didn't see anything I really liked in her size.

ETA: MFD I keep meaning to say, i'm loving Benjamins curls in the holiday pics.

Had a lovely lunch at nandos and a wander around Dobbies :D

The nursery have given me a HUGE bag of next clothes for Erin and Charlie, they were handed in by another parent and they said they are bursting with clothes so passed them on! The clothes are beautiful and most look like new :D
My CM has now had Erin a few weeks and she absolutly loves her, the only problem i am having is that she will not take payment? The last CM took £20 for 9-3 which i was happy to pay but this one said she knows i could do with a break and is happy to help! I think i should do something or contribute but she refuses every time? Payment was never talked about before as it was a chat we had walking up to school, she had thurs free and i asked if she would take E. It was all agreed and TBH i would pay more for her to be there as she is wonderful. i dont know what to give her or do?

Gill, Lewis did this when he was little and i was told it was something to do with blood sugar levels and he had possibly went too long between feeds? I would contact your GP/HV just to be on the safe side and mainly to put your mind at rest

El has got a rash, it started yesterday I gave her some piriton before bed last night (can you tell shes my second, if it had been millies I'd have been hammering on the doctors door!) and she was fine this morning but its back now, the only thing i can think that it might be is her new wellies? she's barely taken them off since we got them yesterday morning and the rash is particularly bad around her feet and legs/bum. Anyone know anything about rubber allergies?

ETA Caz could you save the money up and get her some gift vouchers at christmas

I saved an old one for Benjamin when he was young so he could tear that one up rather than my copy!!

Now he brings it to me saying 'Thomas' and I need to find the page with Thomas beds and chairs on it so he can spend ten minutes shouting 'THOMAS' at the page *rollseyes*

How is the new place Aless? Settling in okay?

Ooo, good idea for next time around. New place is great except I realised earlier that I completely forgot to go to a playgroup this morning that I'd been invited to! Felt really guilty :o
