It did pass through my mind that maybe those 11% were in the 22% who think a microwave is a necessity.

My present that got away was Mr Frosty! There is even a FB page for disgruntled children :rotfl:. Oh and Mousetrap :(.

I always wanted Mousetrap and never got it. :( So it got it for L a couple of years ago..... it's rubbish! :rotfl:

Right TV off. Can't stand jeremy Kyle. All that shouting hurts my head. And sleepytime.

A member of staff from my local McDonalds was on Jezza this morning. I missed it, but just saw a friends facebook status telling everyone to watch.

    Back to my ebaying.

  • I wanted the kitchen too!! and my sister... Both our girls got toy kitchens as soon as they could stand up lol... Aimee's is in the shed waiting for Caitlyn... It might get put in the playhouse at christmas actually...

My brother had a Mr Frosty, we used to put diluting squash in the little penguin... I bought my ex a Mr Frosty for christmas one year... He left it behind when he left... It's still on top of the kitchen cupboard... Do you want my fairies to send it to you SB? lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Gorgeous pic Becles. I bet Charlotte will miss having them around today.

No children for me today so I plan to make a start on my eBay mountain.

Is it Sami's Christophers first day at nursery today too? Good luck Christopher, I'm sure he'll have lots of fun.
Yes I've abandoned my big baby, no tears here  I thought he was about to start crying, not because I was leaving him but because there was a boy playing with the the 'shop' and he wasn't for sharing - Christopher had words with him :rotfl::T They also had the bookstart treasure chests so I have one here waiting for him to look at when he gets home :j We missed out on the one for 18mths I think because the stupid library don't have them here dispite having other bookstart related stuff *suspicious face*

Whomever mentioned Mr Frosty sauce - my cousin just used ribeena when it ran out, worked fine (unlike actual Mr Frosty who couldn't crush a marshmellow never mind rock hard ice :p)

There is a thread on here somewhere about presents that we never got and Mr Frosty and the Al a Carte Kitchen are mentioned alot, I was a tom boy and my missing present was a train set

ETA - Forgot to say Becles lovely pic, I like how big bro is all cool with his shirt untucked

    Hi all :)

Too much to read back but have lurked here and there! Hope your day gets better SS :)

I bought Caitlyn her first shoes at the weekend - she loves them! She keeps bringing them to me to put on her feet.

I always wanted a Mr Frosty - I did have a Keyper though!

Well the HV just rang and said she was doing a weigh round the corner and could she come and weigh Squeak... I said no problem for me we're sat here doing nowt anyway except doing research for more early xmas shopping :rotfl: I think it's an excuse to see if I'm managing OK, I expect she will be surprised to see that when I say we're doing fine I actually mean it :rotfl:

ETA: I had a Keyper! I don't think they were that fashionable at the time though. I think I was 3 or 4 when it was bought for me (so late 80's)
