Hey som, sorry T woke up really early!!

I don't actually mind E getting up at half 6 or even 6 cos when I got back to work I will need him up at that time to get him ready to go to his grandparents etc for 7.

Just need to get the nights sorted, hopefully if I can get him to just want his midnight bottle for a week or so, then I can work on getting him off that one too.

QUESTION! I CANT BOLD ON IPAD SO ITS IN CAPS SORRY! WHEN DID YOU ALL GO FROM TWO MEALS A DAY TO THREE? Like E has breakfast and tea ATM, how long do I just give him that for before introducing lunch?? Any tips on getting water into him?? His poo's have been quite solid (don't actually know how he didn't cry at the last poo) cos he really doesnt take well to water, he just doesn't want to drink out of a sippy cup, should I just try water in a bottle???

  • kindof - have you tried a doidy cup (or just a sippy cup with the lid off)? He will need a bit more help with it, but might get on better with it. Izzy wouldn't drink from sippy cups to start with - it wasn't until she went to nursery, when she saw everyone else using them!

Am looking at ikea and planning what else to buy other than the 2 antilops we are going for. I really want this and the matching fruit, veg and dessert set for T but they say from 3 years waaaa!

I think it says from 3 years because it goes with the Duktig kitchen, which is for 3 years + (but which Molly is getting from 2 with all the dangerous bits removed :p).

It's so cool, and I think having her own kitchen to mess in will stop her from getting too into turning the knobs on my oven and setting the place on fire.

Send her an email saying 'we have an appointment tomorrow and will be out all day. As the leak is overflowing a basin in less than an hour, you should get something done about as I can not be held responsible for damage caused by negligence on your part'

SS could word it better :D

    Dear Landlady,

Thank you for your email. As I informed you in a phone message on xx/xx/xx, water is leaking at a rate of one large basin-full every hour. We informed you of this yesterday and so expected you to make an appointment for repair as a matter of urgency. We have an important appointment tomorrow and will be unable to replace the basin as we have been up to now.

We will update you at the end of the day if there has been any further damage as a result of the delay in repair.

    Yours, ankle-deep,
    Wet Feet McGee

kindof - what you're doing with the water sounds good. I'm pretty sure quite a few spit/dribble tons out before they get the hang of it. He's probably swallowing more than you realise! Just keep offering it after every meal and he'll eventually get the idea.

Morning! Been really tired lately, not sure why. Prolly too much junk food and not enough vits :o. Even though I know it's still several months away, I cannot wait for the night where I don't have to get out of bed at 2am every single and I can have unbroken sleep!! But I shouldn't complain as Sami needs more hugs than me.

Need to do lots of baking and stuff today as we've run out of a lot of things at once again. Rhyme Time at 11, so to fit it all around that!

Aaaah Becles they both look so grown up. And at the same time James doesn't look big enough to be allowed to go to big school! Hope they both have lovely days.
