Seem to be using hyphons a lot now - must have gone through that semi-colon phase;maybe. Yes this whole thing does get you a bit mad. Suddenly we're spending time and money trying to defend against something that we haven't done! I do hope that we all get an explanation of the fraud at some stage - although I'm not sure where it will come from.
You must have developed the hyphen syndrome from me Grahamqat - I prefer hyphens to semi colons. It's also easier to find the hyphen key on my keyboard!!:D

Just had a phone call from "Victim Support". This is a follow-up from issuing a CRN. Generally asked me if everything was OK (this is a general service which could be dealing with any type of crime scenario). I said it was at the moment, but that it would be nice to get an explanation of what has happened at some stage. He assured me there would be another follow-up call with an explanation once all the investigations had been completed. So to all you folks getting a bit ground down by everything, there are parts of the system that seem to be working OK.

<SULK> :( - I haven't received a call from Victim Support (VS) - how long have you had your CRN for Grahamqat? Neither have I received, in writing as promised, confirmation of my CRN - I saw that you received such an email earlier this week.
Anyone else in the forum received their CRN in writing? Or a call from VS?

I received my CRN in writing a few days ago, about a week after I called Action Fraud. I declined the Victim Support offer so I've not had a call from them.
  • I received my CRN by e-mail 2 days after phoning Action Fraud. The advisor asked me if I would like to be contacted by Victim Support but I said no.

However I agree that it would be very interesting to know the outcome of the result of investigation by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau. The Action Fraud advisor told me that they want as many affected people as possible to make a report because that will make it easier for NFIB to get to the bottom of things.

Hi folks. In answer to you Geomacl, I phoned AF this Monday to get a verbal CRN, an e-mail with a pdf written CRN arrived the next day. I cant remember getting the option of accepting/declining "Victim Support", but I was feeling traumatised and vulnerable at the time so I probably said yes. I dont think they pester you and it may be a good way of getting updates on how the investigation is going. It all depends on how well connecetd the victim support team are. Obviously anything I get from them I will post here.

Co-incidentally just got a call from Riskdisk asking if I wanted a free trial of their new on-line credit rating system. I said yes and just looked up MCO Capital. This has probably been reported here before but their rating is 90% - credit rating suspended (where 0% is good). There's not much other info as the company has never traded. Will post anything significant when I've read through it.

Hi Graham, seems that mco have evaporated, leaving only a small brown stain to mark their brief appearance in the financial firmament. I'm still watching the forum, and very happy to help where I can - hopefully all the good advice and research from and by the "regulars", means that this particular thread is now in decline, and little more will be needed.
With luck it will enjoy a revival of celebratory joy, if and when the scam is unravelled, and the crooks get some letters with demands on their time. Stay happy ;-)

Cheers for that Colin - MCO always seemed barely in existence, set up 2 years ago (never technically traded) probably with a view to fraudulent trading. Strange that their web-sites "Helploan", "Balanceloan" and "Paydayloan" sre still operating but that is the nature of the Internet. Set something up and it seems to be there forever. Probably will be less traffic on this site now that people have got their CRN's, and cant do any more than that. I will endeavour to report anything new that happens. Best Regards Colin - have a good weekend.

We're still here Grahamqat - hanging on to your every word of wisdom. I guess that the end is in sight and it would appear that there are no new letters being sent out (or received - no new posters). which is a good sign. At least, that is what I am hoping! It cannot be too long now before we start hearing what has actually going on - I certainly hope so - we MUST be told!!!!
I wish you, Colin and OB a great weekend - we deserve to have some time off!!!
