Asda Home deliveries - payment problems

Hi
I have tried to book a delivery with Asda online this morning and I cannot get them to accept my payment. I've got 3 different cards registered with them and it was the same for each one (and I HAVE got sufficient funds on each of them!)
I've been shopping online with them for months with no problems at all.
Is anyone else having problems?

good god!!! I once had my card declined by my bank but Asda delivered my shopping but phoned me to ask for an alternative card. Have just tried to book again and once more all my cards have been declined.
Am giving up and will just go to Tesco and use cash!!!!0 -
overall i definetly feel its less of a hassle to go into the shop physically, also you get to grab all the bargains. i was quite furious at the bank for doing that to me, it is my money after all ....anyway, hope you get your groceries !0

I tried to do an order on the 26th and initially card would not work. Tried again and it went through. I had a shopping delivery on Friday 27th which arrived no problems. On the Saturday my reoccurring LoveFilm did not go through and I could not use my card to make another online payment. I phoned my bank who said that there had been unusual activity on my card and it turned out to be my Asda delivery. Anyway they re-activated my card and anything was fine until just now. I have just been checking my account online and there is no transaction for the food shop and so the money is still in my account, including in the available balance amount. :eek:JULES

I had the same problem and when I phoned customer services they said it was because the transaction was declined due to insufficient funds. I was doing a big monthly shop scheduled for delivery after my pay day but did not have that amount of funds available on the day of booking!
I find that bizarre as surely they check just before delivery as I may have the money at the time of booking but then spend it all before delivery date! Or they are doing double checks. At any rate it was annoying so back to Mr T's I went!0 -

you have to have at least £3 (thats th elowest i have had in my account when doing future ones) for it to go through. tesco are the same and so are sainsburys. i always do mine on a wed but today it wouldnt go through as i had 0.98 in my account. i get paid tomorrow so i phonedthem and thats what i was told. they dont take any out its just for the card verifying thing or somet0 -
