  • it's a date and apple chutney, v fine though cos the apples, dates and onions are minced rather than diced. i'm not too keen on lumpy pickle/chutney.

Sounds nice, but I'm allergic to dates....wonder if I could use figs instead?

    Morning all
    Happy Birthday Snaggles and Pania

Im having a stressful weekend...things have gone a bit Pete Tong with B and OH's daughter, they were bickering and fighting for OH's attention yesterday, OH's daughter isn't happy and playing up and has said she doesn't want to share a room with B because its not like home, OH is worried and stressed about her and I feel sad for B. It was always going to happen, she feels threatened, she doesn't get OH's full attention like she used to and there is going to be a huge period of readjustment. B of course has no idea she is causing OH's daughter to feel like this because she's young and also is used to having OH to herself. !!!!!! my life sometimes is like something out of a soap opera lol.

Not much happening today, tesco ahhhh and then we are going to look for a new sofa I think

tonight I shall be hitting the wine...although shiiite its back to school tomorrow and B doesn't even have any new school uniform lol
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
    Finally Debt Free...
  • Ah Sal,
It is inevitable that there will be issues with joining to families together, but B is gaining a sister and brother and ALL sisters and brothers argue and bicker. My 2 can sit on the settee and cuddle like mad and the next be SCREAMING at each other, such is life. There will have to be massive adjustment but thats not a bad thing really is it?

I haven't got any new uniforms for my 2-its only been 6 weeks, I dont see why they need new ones if the old ones fit?

    Sal,
At least you understand what is happening and are dealing with it.

I have a friend who's OH's daughter was very clingy at the age of about 13. My friend would moan about it. Given that the poor girl had already had to cope with her mum dying of terminal cancer and her dad hooking up with my friend about 2 months later it used to really invoke thoughts of '!!!!!!' from me.
