We have a stationary cave in work (it has a sloping roof hence it's a cave!), and it is my domain. God forbid anyone who goes in there and messes it up! :rotfl: I do the stationary orders and get sent a shiny new catelogue every 6 months with new stationary in it! It's like stationary p*rn! :rotfl:

    ok, evening all

Out of what I planned for today, hmmmmm got the curtains taken up, although this did involve, taking them down, pinning up, sticking them back up and thinking 'Oh s***' thats not right, taking them down again, re-pinning, hanging again and thinking ok, not perfect, but will do for me! taking down and hemming and pressing and re hanging.....phew

Didn't do library, re painting wall or all the other things I wanted to.

OH got back late afternoon and wanted to take us out for tea, if it had just been me here we wouldn't have bothered, but he feels bad if he is away on DSD weekend.

Plan for tomorrow is..... nothing, will cook tea and thats about it lol

    Hey All,

    Can I join you all?

I am new here and already amazed by how helpful you all are with gallstone advice and I am also a stationary addict. I have just completed registration for my second year on my Open Uni degree and trying my utmost to not buy lots of new shiny notebooks and pens and use what is already in my study. Not as easy as it sounds.

You have inspired me today so once I got some sleep (constant pain makes sleep hard, so i sleep when i can) i hit the supermarket late in the afternoon. Found some good yellow-label bargains including cod and beef.

Despite feeling a bit gumpy (understatement) I pulled myself together and chilled out making two casseroles and apple flapjack. All virtually fat free even the flapjack only needed a little butter which i halved and added some apple juice to make it more gallbladder friendly.

I enjoy cooking a lot makes me calmer and something about chopping up veggies.. hmm.

I have an appointment through to see the consultant on 6th October so I really hope this new diet helps reduce the pain otherwise September will really drag on.

Anyway time to go chop up the flapjack and portion up the casseroles for the freezer.

    Big Hugs all round
