Just back from Hampton St Clares where the shelves are looking half bare but several other end of aisles have a large selection of toys. Plenty of disney princess kitchens at the entrance, crayola illumination station, baby anabelles, bakugan, waybuloo talking dolls, ponyville ferris wheel, fisher price things, littlest per shop, peppa pig, barbie, fur real and 1 sylvanian caravan (i got the other !!).
Some items were not worth it (£7 gruffalo puzzle), but most were better deals than elsewhere. Even with the over inflated original price.0 -
I went to Sainsburys Hedge End earlier. There was only one aisle of toys and it was packed. You could hardly move. Found it disappointing as there were no toy story toys or thomas. Found that most toys were baby toys. Most of the staff seemed stressed getting the shelfs restocked. Came away with 2 puzzles and a car garage.
If you can get to Bitterne, they had loads of toys and they were good at restocking last year. They had 2 double isles of toys and a lot of the ends of isles were full of toys too. There was a really good selection of toys for all agesIt isnt that far from Hedge end if you have a car, I think they have a bus service too. The toys are generally better there during the year, actually most things are because it is just a 'home' store, they don't do food in it

Go away Investments.... spam!!
My local Sainsburys that hardly has any toys usually has loads left, just popped in. Lots of Buzz lightyears, sylvanian family windmill, nerf guns, loads of games, but I was about 5 minutes too late as there was a lady there who had filled a whole trolley with all the lego that was left. I thought it was a trolley that was full of stock to put out until I realised.
Really annoyed as she had the lego atlantis set I so wanted. I bet it all goes on ebay for full price !!! Was very close to saying something but held back!!A small Thank You can make a BIG difference0 -
