sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

Has anyone seen any meccano or imaginext in the sale?? I stayed up to stupid o'clock last night and am gutted!

hi went to white rose sainsburys was for 8.00am and they had lego starwars £12.49 buagkan 7 in 1 19.99 bought lots and spent £130.00 got xmas wraped up nearly the staff there said they would be getting new stock in evedry night hope this helps

Was at Sainsburys in Washington at 6.45am and the place was full, tried to go in and was told they didn't open till 7am. Turned out to be the staff buying up all the good toys :mad: i'm talking 50+ people with trollys stacked high. Still managed to get what i wanted (they sell a really good range) but noticed a few gaps on shelves where the staff had cleared them out. To rub it in one mentioned they get an extra 15% off lol.

We went to Team Valley, Northumberland Park,Whitley Bay and Heaton and they were all poor. No extra toys at all!!

They said Washington was the store that would have had the extra delivery of toys in so i rang them up but they said most had gone and they didnt know what deliveries they would be getting in x

I went to my local one after 10.30am and they had lots of stuff and not too many people looking, hardly anyone was looking at the Buzz Lightyears, I was after Guess Who Extra but they didn't have it out so will have to keep popping back in to check, they did have the normal Guess Who which was a shame it wasn't the Extra.

I got Gator Golf, Frustration, Peppa Pig Trolley and some other bits and pieces.

Me too! Hope you got everything you wanted.
I got the one toy I absolutely needed to cheer up my son, to replace one he lost, and a couple of other bits, probably about half of what I wanted so not bad. Might go back in a few days to see if they get the last couple of Peppa Pig bits in I wanted as they didn't have them in Colton either.

I went to Glasgow Hamilton at 9.30. Plenty on the shelves and more stock going out. A fab sale

Hello all glad most of you got what you wanted...I am holding out till Saturday with my partner let rush die down abit.....not going to spend a fortune decided wait for boots 75% boots sale in Jan 2011 just get the kids a few things and save more and get more...........

there was a theif in my store this morning, he had bagged 20 cd's , he must have been a regular as they said 'what are you doing back in here again' 'leave now.you are tresspassing' etc...saw him on the bus on the way home and he said 'hello' to me....weird or what...im not used to the early morning shop...we were the only 2 shoppers in there at the timei had pick of the lot but only went for sylvanian bits for dd..
