I popped along this morning at around 9.45 and a lot of stuff had gone. Managed to get some polly pocket bits and 2 sonic screwdrivers though so i'm still happy.

Dh was talking to an employee who said the more toys they sell the more stock they get in and the shelves are often well stocked by the end of the wk when the rush dies down a bit. Apparenly they had queues outside at 6am. They don't open till 7! Madness lol

There was lots of nerf guns at Letchworth this morning. SF windmill was at Poplars and there were a few guns there about 30 minutes ago. I wasn't looking for SF so didn't notice if there was other stuff.

hi i went to the cardiff Colchester Avenue store first thing, there was about 4 staff members stocking shelfs and there was a lot of toys dotted around the shop as well as the normal toy ones.

I asked about the peppa pig hide and seek and the v smile motion as there the only 2 things my 2 girls have asked for and was told that they couldnt see any but that there was cage after cage out the back and there would be more stock in befor wednesday when the half price deal ends. HTH

i think i even met a fellow mser lol

I went to my local sainsburys and it just looked like any other day, quiet with a few people buying toys, there was no massive range of different toys and they were scattered around the store, all i wanted was the old style woody, transformers optimus prime and chuck the talking truck, they hadn't got one of my items in at all!!! Pathetic!!! I am not pleased, the CA told me that I should keep coming back as they had lots of boxes in the back full of toys that had been delivered over night, I'll go back later but if I have no joy I may wait and see if the other stores have a sale on instead. Not pleased at all!

Just did chester and Wrexham.

Don't waste your time in Chester they have hardly anything, directing people to Ellesmere Port or Wrexham.
Just in from Wrexham - they have loads of stuff. Still loads of Buzz light year and toy story - peppa pig and LEGO including some Star wars lego. Lots of V-tech stuff, mini microwaves and hoovers.....can't remember it all...oh some Sylvian family stuff.

didn't get the board games i was after tho :mad: said they don't stock them.

Natschic, I didn't really look at pre-school toys in Sainsburys. But if you have a home and Bargains near you, they have the Maracas in for £7.99 or £8.99 can't remember which.
